Education and Outreach

Last year, the Harry R. Hughes Center for Agro-Ecology surveyed the Eastern Shore’s municipalities to determine their needs to build capacity for improving local water quality. A significant number of municipalities indicated the need for additional educational opportunities to increase their knowledge regarding potential projects and funding opportunities.

The free one-day workshop will be held on 2 dates:

Click to register for:  Thursday, January 18, 2018 on the Upper Eastern Shore (Kent County Community Center, Worton, Maryland)

The event will begin at 9:00 am and conclude by 3:00 pm. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served to participants.  Funding for this event is provided by the Rural Maryland Council.
