The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at theUniversity of Maryland is one of the leading programs emphasizingthe impact and relationship of the urban environment on agricultureand our natural resources.

With an ever expanding urban population, competition for landand resources is continually increasing. Can harmony exist betweenan expanding population and the need to maintain agriculturalproduction and protect our natural resources? The College ofAgriculture and Natural Resources says "YES."
