AGNR Open House 10-4-2008

Petting holstein cowPlease join us on Saturday, October 4, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. for the AGNR Open House to be held at the Central Maryland Research and Education Center, Clarksville Facility, 4240 Folly Quarter Road, Ellicott City (Howard County).

The theme for this year is "Green and Sustainable." Many of the displays will show how we are going green and how you can incorporate the some of the same methods into daily living to minimize your "carbon footprint."

This is a great opportunity for the general public to learn about the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, its academic programs, research programs across the state, and how University of Maryland Cooperative Extension strives to meet the needs of our citizens.

Plan to join us for the only Open House in 2008 to be held on site at a research facility.

Please contact Frank Allnutt at fallnutt@umd.edu or 301-432-2767 x308 if you have any questions.
