The Center for Food, Nutrition, and Agriculture Policy at the University of Maryland – College Park convenes a Ceres® Forum, “Beer: To Your Health!” on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Marriott at Metro Center in Washington, D.C.

Our Ceres® Forum brings together leading scientists to present cutting-edge, scientific research on moderate beer / alcohol consumption and health as it relates to diabetes, bone health, obesity, and cardiovascular health. These scientists will also discuss how best to educate consumers and health professionals about the challenges of balancing moderate beer / alcohol consumption benefits with excessive consumption risks.

A Congressional Reception on Capitol Hill follows immediately for all Ceres® Forum speakers and attendees.
